The map shows the population change in the Arctic regions as well as neighbouring regions between 2000 and 2010. Changes in population size and structure reflect the dynamics of births and deaths (together defining "natural increase" or decrease), and of in- and out-migration (together, "net migration"). These changes are indicated by colours where yellow means no changes, red indicates regions or places with declining population and blue indicating those with population increases.
