The map shows and compares the share and change of elderly population aged 65 years and more in the Nordic Arctic. Compared to the Nordic average share of 18.7%, the municipalities having a lower share of elderly people, mostly in Iceland and Faroe Islands, are however experiencing a rapid increase of elderly population.
